Need help discrediting the Sierra Club
I am doing a paper in class on equal land use rights for all. I am done with the paper but could use some info discrediting Sierra Club to help my argument.
I remember a few years ago seeing information about smaller organizations that the Sierral Club supported...one in particular had a handbook on how to hurt/mame/injur dirtbike riders. Something with this kind of info would be awesome!
on a side note mye professor is a self proclaimed hippy and when i told her what topic i was doing, she exclaimed "oooh I love that topic!". LOL, i replied that i may just open her eyes to a whole new world.
Thankyou guys in advance

Re: Need help discrediting the Sierra Club
Have you contacted ORBA? If not they may be able to help you. Here is their info:
Fred Wiley, Executive Director of the Off-Road Business Association (ORBA), is pleased to announce that the ORBA office has moved from its original location in Santee, CA to Bakersfield, CA. The new address is:
1701 Westwind Drive #216
Bakersfield, CA 93301
Phone (661) 323-1464
Fax (661) 323-1487
www.orba.biz
We will continue to operate satellite offices in San Diego, CA, Temecula, CA and Pocatello, ID.
ORBA was formed in April of 2001 by Roy Denner, our current President and CEO, along with seven Southern California off-road business owners. Those business owners realized that if the land closures didn’t stop the next closure would be the doors of their businesses. Since that time ORBA has grown to almost 400 members. Because of the support of our members we are able to work to protect and enhance riding areas and stop closures by working with land managers, lobbying local, state and national politicians, and using legal and scientific resources when needed. ORBA currently has the largest off-road vehicle recreation land use staff in the country.
ORBA is a national trade association composed of off-road related businesses united to promote common goals that support the prosperity and growth of the off-road industry.

Re: Need help discrediting the Sierra Club
You might try researching the major corporate donors to the SC. I think some of the large oil and auto companies "contribute."
I don't think you'll find any official SC support for EarthFirst.
Good Luck!

Dont be surprised when you see your "grade" in that class after you do your research and deliver your paper to the class. Liberal profs have a way of their own. I took on a few "beleifs" when I was in college and was nit surprised at the results. My papers were typically over scturinized to the point of being rediculous. Remember when doind a project like yours, stick to the facts and keep the "feelings" out of it.
Givem hell, brother!
