STOLEN 93 Ranger
Let me preface this by saying that yes, I know there's a forum for this, however this seems to get more traffic.
Sometime between 9am and 7pm a black 93 extra cab was stolen from the UCSD campus.
Some specs:
Baja Shop equal length/radius arms
Full cage
35x12.5" BFG AT on Outlaw II copies
4.0L
King c/o front w/ blue coils
SAW threaded body rear
Ammo cans with aluminum work to blend them into the rear of the bedsides

Anyone with any info is encouraged to contact Matt Meyer at (949)275-0600 as soon as possible.

Re: STOLEN 93 Ranger
I think I saw your truck in Chula Vista going south on I-5 at about 11:30am, It looked just like it, not positive though, I was going north at the time. Could be in Mexico. Sorry about your truck, I have a ranger also. I'll keep an eye out down here.

Hey, I'm not going to be much of help, but I have seen your truck around campus, I also go to UCSD, I really liked what you did to that thing, hope you find it. Never would have thought someone would come to UCSD looking for a truck like that.

Re: STOLEN 93 Ranger
Mods, you can move this to the Lookout forum now.
Thanks for the info. I just had my brother post up for me as soon as got to the parking lot and it wasnt there and wasnt towed.
And I agree, UCSD is about the last place in the world I would think someone would look for a prerunner.
I'll post some more pics tomorrow, but some more distinguishing/rare features:
And the pic on the trailer is the much more current than the other one.
-Baker Motorsports Front Hubs w/Wilwood Brakes (not too many of these around)
-Baja Shop Equal Length beams/steering w/an added plate on the front of the beam
-Winters/Art Carr Shifter for an A4LD (custom Gate Plate)
-2 Hella dust lights with welding spatter on them, lol
-Lexan rear window

Re: STOLEN 93 Ranger
Here is one of the most current pics I have of it: The rear window is fixed with lexan though.

The rear of this truck was pretty unique because I setup the cage to still allow a lot of storage space and I havent seen another truck with the ammo cans/aluminum work that I did to it.
I have a bad feeling that its probably across the border by now, so to all the RDC'ers in Mexico please keep an eye out.

Re: STOLEN 93 Ranger
Nope, no updates yet. Filed the paperwork a little while ago, now I just have to wait until the beginning of May to get the value from the insurance company.
