Anyone have info on Desert orgs?

I'm doing a speech on desert racing. I was hoping some of you could give me some info on SCORE, MORE, MDR, SNORE, BITD, etc. Just some basic stuff is fine. Founded, reason for their founding, host certain races?

I have googled them and only found some stuff for BITD... not anything for the others

I can give you some info on snore. founded in 1969 the reason was some bike and buggy guys had raced the mint 400 and baja they wanted more local races. for the 1st years of snore bikes raced. mike gaughan, Brendan's dad and Las Vegas casino owner started on a bike. snores 1st race was a night race in California on the west side of stateline now primm. there were some smaller events less than 100 miles long. then in 1970 snore decided to do a major event the snore 250 . the event started at the corner on Tropicana and rainbow now Spanish trails county club. the track ran south to primm then north into California to sandy valley then to mountain springs east to red rock into Vegas. 246 cars showed up with the sports biggest names. snore is a Nevada non-proft corporation that promotes off road events from desert racing to poker runs and cleanups and trail marking. snore is the only race promoter that elects race officials each year and all the racers get to vote. it's a club
