HEY!!! need Some YOTA help...
So, I am gettin into the game, I love prerunners, I have loved them since I was little, but i got rear ended in my 92 Pick up truck and so, plans have been pushed ahead and so iam checkin out shops, I love ESB, for about 2 years I have looked at there stuff... But to get a Decent Set up from them its going to be 8K and we arent even talkin Shocks yet.... So I think my only choice is Total Chaos....The plans for my truck is to have a coil over up frotn with a triple bypass, still keeping the truck 4x4, having the rear pull close to 20 inches with some dual Bypasses on the back. Iam looking for a good creditable shop to do this, as I believe they can get it done, better and quicker then I can. So far I have looked into OC Off Road and LeadFoot Industries... My question is for thos with the TC Gen II Uni ball, how do you like it? anyone have the bypass on? also, for the rear Is Deaver the only Leaf Spring Packs of is there a cheaper or better set out there?
thanks

Re: HEY!!! need Some YOTA help...
I'm working on a '94 2wd 'yota for a customer right now. It's got the TC Uniball kit on the front. Although it's not the same as what your 4wd would run it seems to be a nice kit.
Couple things I like about it:
- Arms and components are very well built with quality materials and excellent workmanship.
- While mocking everything up, it cycles really well. This kit (cycling at 13") may not have the "huge" travel #'s of others but it is set-up well and priced right, IMO.
I don't have any personal experience running their kits but my customers seem to like the performance of them a lot.
As far as shops go, if you've already narrowed it down to OC or Leadfoot, I say go with OC Offroad. They are turning out some really nice trucks.
Here's a couple pics of the engine cage I'm building for my customer....

I say check these guys out for springs as well http://www.alcanspring.com/
they do a great job, we use them and love them, tried others and wouldn't run anything else.

The Total Chaos Gen II kit is awesome. I had it on my truck for over a year until I got a chance to run the Gen III kit. I never had any complants about it and I even raced on it. The kit took everthing I threw at it and still drove home. You can't go wrong with any of the Total Chaos products.
