power loss
so im playing with my fuse to my stereo the other day. the wire slips from my hand and lands on the negative terminal. now my truck wont give any power to turn on at all. will still get sparks if i touch a positive to a ground though. any thoughts

so you were playing with a fuse while you had a wire in your hand........im nut sure im following.
reguardless, you prolly just blew another fuse when you shorted out whatever circuit you were dicking with.
check every fuse with a test light at both junction blocks. in the cab and under the hood.

your right i had the fuse in one hand and wire in another. i checked all the fuses in the cab and under the hood. i pulled them all out and they looked fine

Maybe if you post this thread in a few more places you'll find the answer. LOL
Looking at a fuse don't cut it... check it with a test light.

have you checked any inline fuses. if you vehicle has them. i spent 2 weeks hunting down a blown inline fuse way back when. G

make extra sure to double check that you dont have a loose nut behind the wheel. that can cause all kinds of havok like you're describing.
