Ranger Motor Swap - old 4.0L to new 4.0
Does anyone have any information on swapping the old '90-'94 4.0L out of a ranger and installing one of the newer versions of the 4.0L in? Maybe a recommendation for a shop that has done it. The old motors are 160hp and the new ones are 207hp and lighter......

my buddy just swapped in a 99 4.0 into his 93. from what he told me it was pretty straight forward, except he had to use a different flywheel and he also mentioned something about the throttle body.....i'm sure others on here will probably have more useful info.
