3000
Vehicles built from a two or four-wheel drive, utility vehicle type vehicle. Vehicle must have been a series produced in quantities of at least 5000 units within a 12-month period and be readily available to the general public in the U.S.A. Maximum wheelbase is 120 inches.
Front stays original concept but rear is open so your link will be allowed.
Unrestricted items are:
A. Pivot points
B. Spring rates and capacities
C. Ball joints
D. Mountings
E. Track width but tires must retract inside of fender wells.
Stock production wheelbase must be retained plus or minus 2 inches but cannot exceed 120 inches. Front wheel travel limit is 15 inches. Rear wheel travel limit is open.
Maximum cubic inch displacement is 470. Engine must be of the same manufacturer’s basic design, type and have the same number of cylinders as the factory installed engine.

Re: class 3 or 3000
Just be aware that the Score class 3 and BITD 3000 rules are very different. A SCORE 3 car could probably run BITD but not neccesarily the other way around.

120" wheelbase for class 3 in BITD? That's longer than some Trophy Trucks and most 8 trucks.
Does BITD allow 4-link coilover in ther rear too (instead of leafs)?
