I was talking to Steve Cullhane about the differences in trannies built for street/drags and desert racing. After that, I was convinced that I would not race an auto tranny built by anyone without a lot of experience in desert racing specific transmissions.

Who are some reputable VW air cooled builders for 12/5 open/10 class engines? Fat is one of few I can think of.
