Re: Mexico's Cartels Escalate Drug War
ok, well maybe not wi with 40 plus cars and 100 people, but there are several decaputaions(sp) that have happened in the USA. not with as many people, but it has been done. and to send in our marine's to help, why? were already wasting endless amounts of money over in IRAQ and other places. i could see us helping out mexico, since the americans do go ove rthere alot, but not if were over in IRAQ. get us out of IRAQ, then we can move to help mexico.

Re: Mexico's Cartels Escalate Drug War
Is that "curtnrod" or "cutnrun" (lol!).
We will leave Iraq when the work is done. The U.S.A. can't afford to have another Vietnam or Somolia on its hands. The fact is that we are winning in spite of what Dan Rather says. Our fighting men and women there want to finish the job and the Iraqi's want this democracy. Then if need be we will take the fight to Syria, Iran, Baja and North Korea. The citizens of those countries want democracy as well. Do not be afraid of being afraid. We need to keep the momentum and rid the planet of anyone wanting to "have the blood of American's flowing throught the cities of America". It really does not matter how much money it costs.

Gasp...I agree! Although I don't think it is practical to send in the marines just quite yet, I do think something needs to be done. Drug cartels operating like that are no different from the manner in which the terrorists in Iraq et al. operate. The only difference is the drug cartels are peddling a product which kills more Americans every year than any terrorist attack. We need to show those drug cartels who really rules the roost. If fought them half as hard as we fought the terrorist you could kiss the drugs good bye!

Jr,
WOW! This is a big step for you, (lol) These guys are entrenched, they have been there for a while. We cant send in the cops. You read the article, these guys are militia.
And further to your point, These guys ARE just like the terrorists all over the world, they will fight back just as hard as the law enforcement fights them... It is time for the Marines! And just like the cartels most of the terrorists in Afganistan are growing Poppy's, to produce Heroin to sell aroung the globe.

It would'nt have to cost a thing. All we need to do is move just one Camp Pendleton drill south about 50 miles.
Of course we could be more discrete. One Apache or Cobra that was "off course" could take out an entire convoy. Talk about easy logistics! Money from scrap metal would just about pay for road repairs.
Marine Cobra's crossing into Mexico...

I strongly disagree. Since we have been overseas, we have found nearly 500 chemical weapons containing mustard or sarin nerve agent; I don't know about you, but that sounds like an accomplishment to me. Sure some were produced long before the Gulf War and no longer may be harmful, but not for certain; I sure wouldn't like to know.

OK, then maybe your right about THAT. so we found some badass bombs, now lets get out of there so we stop loosing our freinds and family. wish recently, last week, one of my good buddies died over there when there convoy got it. I dont like loosing family or freinds, but this is enough ok, lets get out of there and let them run there own country, we have OURS to worry about. F iraq and them countries, screw them all, we should kill everyone over there then we would never have to worry about them ever. BYE. (lets see if i recieve negative marks from this one, and if i do, make sure to leave a name ok.)
