A special request, trying to win a tube chassis

I'm attempting to win a tube chassis from Shaffer's Offroad on Pirate. I was one of 6 finalists chosen and the voting ends today at 4:22 pm PST. I'm only a few votes behind right now and could really use your help! Why vote for me? I'm in the BRC and CORVA, I perform needed maintenance and patrols in Big Bear as part of the Adopt A Trail forum. I lend a hand, tool or part to people on the trail. I love metal fab, and I love checking out the rides on this site for inspiration, if a truck can handle 4' tall rocks at 60 mph, my Jeep can handle them at 2 mph. In three years I've learned enough on my own to be able to build the rig pictured below, doing everything except gear setup myself Winning this chassis would be the ultimate upgrade for me.

still pissed about the m&b incident...i used to watch their tv show as a kid, went to their turkey shoot at JV when they shot a turkey on top of a large model rocket for thanksgiving, even have video somewhere of it! 20 years i've listened to them and this is how they repay me :P

it's actually been along time since i've listened, i ride a bike to work a lot and my commute isn't that long if i drive...and i can't listen at work. clue me in please? i told the screener my intentions, two different ones even, they were both cool with it...people do it for concert tickets, so?

That was pretty jacked up. Later on they hung up on the guy that supposedly quit his job and didn't give him tickets.

I don't think those two understood what you were talking about. They have no clue of anything offroad related. Maybe someone should call and tell them to check out Dust to Glory.

haha i heard that. i called back in and the screener put me on hold to give the details, they took some stupid calls i'm writing them a letter with the bill for the tv and and a receipt for a sirius radio i'll buy :P

was looking through some old links and thought I'd pop back in and post an update I ended up winning the chassis, picked it up August 4th and took it out for it's first trip over Thanksgiving to Johnson Valley. The buggy works awesome. I've also showed it at the Simpson open house a month ago, and then took it out for 5 days over New Years.
