    Fellow Off Roader sightings

Its always good to see race shirts, you immediately share a bond with that person amongst a crowd that many people there have no clue about.. Dezert Racing.

With that being said, last night, Aloha, Full Pull, myself and the wives went to the GasLamp bar in Long Beach and saw PCI racing shirt, Burgess/Desert Assassins, and a SCORE terribles cup event tshirt.. Was that anyone from RDC?

I saw Kevin Graves (Fellow 1600 racer) at work last night. (Outback Steakhouse in El Cajon)

    Re: Fellow Off Roader sightings

I had an interesting meeting of a fellow (?) racer last week. I was down at Moonlight Beach in Encinitas playing Volleyball after work and was sitting in my beach chair waiting for a game. I was wearing a Best In The Desert (just their logo) t-shirt. On one of the courts, there were a couple of cute young girls (18 – 20 I’m guessing) with long blond pony tails playing ball in their bikini’s so they caught my attention on occasion; OK I was watching their game intently. One of them had a rather large tattoo on her lower back and it looked like something familiar. She was just a little too far away to tell exactly what it was but I thought I could tell. When she came over closer to chase down a loose ball, she looked at my shirt and I could tell she recognized the BITD logo. I took the opportunity to look at the tattoo; and sure enough it was a picture of a long travel Prerunner Truck traveling through the desert; quite detailed. Well I had to know the story behind that (pun not intended) so I caught up with her a little later. She said it was a picture of her 1450 truck that she will be racing. All the tattoo needed was a RDC logo on it. We talked racing for awhile; she is a nice girl and very enthusiastic about racing. If I remember right her name is Holly and I have seen her at Moonlight since. Maybe I’ll be seeing more RDC shirts at Moonlight now.

Dilligaf and Cracka please take the time to read "Quantity vs Quality" post here on RDC. We take our board seriously and want to see the content quality remain somewhat tolerable. This thread started off good, lets keep it that way.

I’m telling you, she is a nice, very good looking girl and dedicated to offroad. It is hard to find a woman that shares our passion for the desert, let alone races. I’d still be married if my ex-wife could have handled even a little bit of dust and heat. You younger guys ought to be looking for this tattoo!
