While discussing this subject through E-mail with others last week, I thought this subject may also be of interest to other readers here on RDC. I copied this entry list out of a 1982 Mint 400 program.

Cool, almost 20 entries that day. Apparently, Doherty is the only guy left from that group still racing Class 8 today. Hopeful that we will continue to see this class grow although today there are several more sanctioning bodies than in 82.

The Whiplash Snowflake races (held in the Az White Mountains every Labor Day)
had around 18 class 8's between 2000, and 2003.
But, Whiplash is not very serious about enforcing the SCORE rules, and they werent all true class 8's.
The big question is, where are all the Class Eights, NOW ?
