Tropical Storm hits Southern Baja
Finally, after many months of very dry conditions in Baja South, La Paz, Loreto and Cabo San Lucas has received much needed inches of rain. When you look at some of the race pics and vids of the CABO 500, its was very dry! Yes, its a desert, but, the area from La Paz to Cabo gets more rain than any other part of baja mexico.
Pic from San Jose del Cabo arroyo crossing.

Re: Tropical Storm hits Southern Baja
I have surfed Santo Thomas between La Paz and Cabo. It's just below the tropic line, beautiful area. On the road driving south you are in the baja desert we all know and love then suddenly you turn a corner and an awesome tropical paradise is growing all around you! Don't surf? Bring some beers and food and spend at least one day on the beach. Huge, empty and not a resort for 100 miles.

This storm is also helping the U.S. Open of Surfing in HB.
