Problem with my Lowrance 480c
All of a sudden, my Lowrance 480c baja is giving me a window that says, "GPS module not responding".... can anyone point me in the right direction to fix this issue..... it was working fine.

Re: Problem with my Lowrance 480c
When mine said that, the antenna didn't have power. Little red and black wires.

Re: Problem with my Lowrance 480c
Mine was a bad cable. The last prep person had doubled it back to shorten it and then zip tied it down - hard. Little wires are fragile things. If you know somebody who has a compatable unit switching out the module (antenna) and the cable as a test might be worth the time and hassle. Both are too expensive to buy without knowing for sure. (I figured that out the hard way.)

Yes that error message means it is not getting a signal from the anteana. Could be a bad anteana or the wiring going to the anteana. Also check the connector that hooks up to the anteana as we have had ours come loose there at the plug, wires kind of pulled out of the plug but we were able to fix it with out replacing it.
