True but for some people that don't have offroad in there area it doesn't matter. Its better then nothing. Score needs to make real spectator zones like BITD.

Safety doesn't need fans and there are no spectators at Primm anyway.....your ego would have to be pretty big to think that the 10 fans that come for the afternoon race are there to watch those three classes when 1, TT, PT and 8 are out there.

Just my $.02, we have raced this race in the past and never been hit so hard so many times, even pulled off the course for a 1 car only to have the 1 car that was following in the dust corn hole us (while we were still 15' off the course) nearly rolling our truck.
Does anybody know if this subject has been brought up to SCORE?

There was a incident on a Trophy Truck and a 7s driven by Scott Douglas regarding this subject. Anyone with more info ?

There was a TT verses a 4100 at a BITD race last year. The TT almost ripped the rear body off the Explorer 4100?
While no one was hurt it ended both their chances for a good finish, this happens in the DUST...

If I remember correctly it was 1999 or 2000. I was at Primm in pit A when the Enduro TT and the Herbst TT came through racing each other pretty hard. Just past the pits they came upon a 7s Toyota (I think) and all three of them got together. The Enduro TT did not finish, the Toyota did not finish , and the Herbst TT spent a very long time in the pits before leaving.
No its not a very good idea to mix them.

It was BK's old 7open truck. Barry broke and slid sideways to a stop in the dust, and there was no time to react for anyone. The way that that particular accident happened the class of vehicle did not matter. I was there to pick up pieces and drag the leftovers out/ home. That said...slower stuff in the Morning. Faster stuff later.

I say move the 10s up with the Big Boyz. In 2003 at Primm we were running Sportsman Buggy (we won our class) along with the Class 10's and we must have had a target painted on our rear end. No horn, no effin nothing, BAM, a couple big team 10's pasted us. True we should have been watching better, but you can't see them all. I say move the 10s up to fight it out with the big teams.

I'm glad someone brougth this up, we've been thinking about it and it's nothing like we are afraid, but for safety reasons, the reality is, the big guys ARE way faster than us, 7s 7sx drivers.
Having said that, I think that the big truck drivers are getting more careful, but of course, we're only talking from ourlimited experience of one year in Primm (we raced Primm in 2005) and our experience was good, we only got one love tap by the Herbs, and it was sort my fault, we were watching our back, but we never saw him comming ,but it was nothing hard at all, very gentleman like, and no damage to our truck .
If it was up to us, We like the idea of moving, not just the 10's, but also the 5 open class to the afternoon, and move 7sx, 7s to the morning, kind of like this:,,
Group A 1/2 1600, 5-1600, 9, 7S, 7SX, 3, SM, 11, SB, SF.
Group B TT, 1, 8, 10, SL, PT, 5, 7, ST.
