Re: #12 drew 22nd now 4th hhhmmmmmm.......
I don't think Collins/Ragland are going for a points championship this year, given that neither #80 (Chad) or #12 (Brian/Larry) raced San Felipe, nor had a finish worth mentioning at Laughlin. I know Chad isn't racing, so my guess would be that they slap the #80 on the 3 seater and go for another overall at Primm.
Call it BS but they definitely aren't the first to enter two names and go for whichever draws best... guarantee they won't be the last either.

Before you start your normal pissing and moaning read your rule book. Page 11-G15 " The race director or his designated representative have the right to change the race vehicle numbers". If you would look before you speak Larry Ragland raced the whole 2004 race season as driver of record under the #12 truck.

Re: #12 drew 22nd now 4th hhhmmmmmm.......
I think most of the rules restricting drivers of record and such are to protect the integrity of the points race. I assume they don't want the points so no big deal.
Did they actually switch diver of record and numbers after the draw?
BTY - I do think the whole ghost entry deal is weak. Enter your car or truck and take what you are drawn. I think the Scaroni and Miller two entry plan they used because they aren't racing for points is lame.
I have $20 that says Pete enters the 1000 and so do all his riders just to prove the point. 5 entries for $1000 is cheap and one of them may be 1st off.
None of this matters to me because #16 will get first draw for the 1000 since I'm pulling the names at the Elsinore Casino on the 30th! Be there to see the drama
