The CHP also have an airplane up looking for speeders. They clock you by how many dots in the road you pass within a certain calculated time. They have units hiding at on and offramps in an effort to cut down on fatal and serious accidents on the 15. Keep the CB on and watch out for them smokey bears!!!

They especially hang out between Baker and Primm (State Line). I Know, I've been caught there before. Plus, the CHP officer told me so. He mentioned that there were lots of fatalities for speed, and drinking and diving due to the fact that people start partying early on the way to Vegas. The CHP's love to get you on downgrades, so watch your speed going down hill.

Actually they don't count the number of dots that you pass, if you look on the side of the road on the shoulder there is a painted white line the is like 10" wide and 8 feet long and there is one of those every mile, so if it takes you 60 seconds to get from one to the other then you are going 60 mph.............
