Actually as I was typing my post above I started thinking about it, with a zero offset rim the idea could actually work. Not sure if the huge upper is much of a benefit, but with that setup you could just have your kingpin inclination 90 degrees to the ground while still having a perfect scrub radius. Then you'd be able to have your upper and lower equal length or close to it if you still wanted some camber change. The spindle seems like you'd have to be spot on with the design for it to be durable, but I think maybe the guy was on to something.
I tought it was to scrub the mud of the tires....![]()
I wonder if legally you can use the upper A-arm as a fender the way its been plated & all
