make the spindle slightly taller than the inside pivot disance. Make sur eyou gain caster as it compresses and looses caster as it droops, but make sure it nevers goes past 0 caster. Also make sure not to have any positive camber throughout the cycle. There's a lot of info already on the site. just search and read a lot.

I have been told by some very knowledgeable people in the industy that you should forget anything you ever learned, knew, or heard about caster gain. I do not build it into any of my suspension systems.
Read as much as you can before you start. Everything in a suspension design is a compromise. Changing one thing effects several things. Better this equals worse that. Determine what you feel is most important, caster/ camber curves, bumpsteer, ackerman, scrub radius, track scrub...ect. and design for those areas.
Good luck with the build!

I've built a truck with castor gain (anti-dive) I'll never waste my time again! A small amount of anti-dive = way too much castor change over 24" of travel.
Build you suspension idea out of cardboard and use thumbtacks for pivot points and find some geometry you like. Some of the top guys do it that way.
Other than that, pay attention to the trucks that win and notice the difference between those and the trucks that don't work so well.

Webbing in the right palces, heavy guage for those lower arms depening on application (.090- .188) and burn that baby hot with lots of rod. Don't be affraid to take your time welding with multiple passes. More is always better when it comes to welding.
