tundra bumper question
okay, here's how this starts: lifted truck, got bigger tires, removed the plastic valance under the bumper...
there's a part that hangs down, behind/under the chrome bumper. it's probably not that bad, but my eyes go right to it every time i look at the front of the truck...it looks like a crash impact absorption piece? it's basically 2 hollow square tubes, like the pic below. looks like it's bolted to the frame in 4 spots, and that's it. nothing is attached to it, from what i can tell. the only way to get to the top 2 bolts is to remove the bumper itself.
before i start taking things off of the truck, can anyone confirm this piece will come off as easily as it looks? and is there anything tough about removing the bumper?
thanks!
