wiring toyota 4.7

anyone wire a 4.7 iforce motor into something other than a tundra? do i need the body harness along with the obvious main engine harness? im running the tundra tranny too and i really dont want to spend the money on a standalone? i have everything from the truck i just thought id ask before tearing into it
