Fresh Blood
Saludos del Norte del Baja
(Otherwise known as Southern California)
I can't help it, I was born here.
Found the site through various other sites I've visited over the years. I've always been a visitor until now.
I have always been interested in desert racing, and hope to finally get involved in that side rather than as a spectator, which I've always been.
There are desert people and sand people, and I'm definately desert, even though I don't mind an occasional trip to Dumont or Glamis to break it up a little. I usually go to Ocotillo Wells, Barstow area, El Mirage Dry Lake, Soggy Dry Lake, Slash X, Parker AZ area, Baja.
I belong to CORVA and CA4WD Clubs.
I have a just-turned 7 year old son that I put on a quad 2 weeks before his 2nd birthday who's turning out to be a great rider and interested in racing, and a 10 year old daughter who didn't start riding until she was 3 who is also a very good rider.
I've been a frequent visitor to Baja since my 1st trip in '77, mostly the San Felipe area. I haven't been south of Bay of LA. I've seen a lot of changes. The Growth reminds me more and more of So Cal, unfortunately!
I pilot 2 Drakarts - a Formula Cross, and an Intimidator, a '67 Early Bronco, and a host of quads.
iAdios!
