    C4 fluid capacity

Can anyone tell me, or where to find, what the fluid capacity of the Ford C4 tranny is? (with and without draining the torque converter?) Thanks.

The real fluid capacity will depend on the pan capacity, the size of your converter, the capacity of your cooler and how long your cooler lines are. I don't think using a Chiltons is the way to go... but if you want the stock specs I've got them in a book at home.

yeah, I was afraid of that. It does have a little deeper pan on it and I'm not sure what model converter is in it. I will be calling the previous owner and asking him. Thanks.
