TV Coverage of 2007 Lisbon to Dakar?
So, who's covering the Dakar race in the states? OLN? Speed? Nobody? Anyone got a schedule?

AW: TV Coverage?
VW Press release:
"The best action scenes before they appear on television
"Dakar TV” in the Internet: The first motion pictures of the Dakar Rally are broadcast every day around 21:00 by www.volkswagen-motorsport.com in a daily-review and background magazine. The daily-review screens the day's best action pictures, summarises the sporting events and highlights the leader board. The magazine looks behind the scenes of this cross country classic and captures the atmosphere in the bivouac. The three minute films are available in German and English."

I received this reminder from VSTV and it indicates that coverage begins tomorrow (Sat, 1/6/07)
You have requested to be reminded of the following shows:

Please note, all show times are Eastern Time.

Re: TV Coverage?
It looks like the coverage is going to be the same as last year. LAME.
30 min highlight show which usually is pretty lame because, they also show the bikes and trucks along with the cars. LAME. I was flipping through my Cox Cable- Channel 65 Versus. All the shows are 30mins, about three times a day. LAME. Why don't they just show a one hour show with more footage?
Dont they know that there are two Americans racing that have a great chance of winning USA's first DAKAR trophy.
