I would love to see what Autofab would make! I agree that their quality & customer service are good!
Heard nothing but bad things about Glassworks.... Tried contacting them to buy stuff & they apparently had better things to do than take my money. I refuse to give my cash to anyone that conducts buis that way.
I'm sold on Autofabs flared fronts, & wanna see the bedsides to match!! John??
Ya don't use glassworks i ordered from them and it toke almost a month to get them. i order them on december 19. i would call and call to find out where my bedside were. and he would tell me lie after lie. he would tell me one day he shipped them out then the next day he would say his driver is going to deliver them and is going to be there in a hour and half. then this week i try calling him and left about 5 message a day and never got him. then yesterday i filed a police report on him and his company for theft and emailed a copy to him. then today i got home at 12:00 and they were here!! so ya I'm never using them again. All he had to do was tell me the truth like they had been backed up on orders and it will be there in a few day. i didn't like all the lies and everything.

Autofab is starting to make 67-72 bulged bedsides, the mold looks like they are going to be super nice, they said they might be ready for sale in a few months. Dibs on first set!

Yeah - he's been working on those for a little while. Same with the rear bedsides for 78/79 broncos! John's got a bunch of cool stuff going as usual!
If my truck sits higher in the front - do I have a prerunner?????
So Flat Iron Racing is in the process of deciding on glass for our 69 class 8 truck. We will most likely be making a custom one piece by modifying existing products. The sloped autofab hood is the ticket(function and it looks cool) but their fenders wont work with a 88" treadwidth. flared-fender.com setup looks killer and will work with the treadwidth, but the hood is too tall. A mix of the 2 is what we are thinking. We will post pics when we get it roughed out(before we have a mold made) and see if anyone else likes it and hopefully we can get a couple people together to pitch in on it.
I really LOVE the Trailer Products '73-'79 F-Series glass and I plan on purchasing a set, but I have to finish a couple of other projects before I can start on my '79 F-150. I wish I could just buy the glass now, but storage space is at a premium so I don't really have enough room for a set of full-size truck bodywork to be laying around.
Changing the rear of the Old C&D truck, new wider DT rear end (88 wide)and should have my longer trailing arms next week (going from 113 to 119 WB) going to need some flared bedside soon, autofabs molds are not even close to being done !!!!! I have the old auto fab front fenders if anyone needs them
