    Class 1 attrition

    Only 17 of 43 starters finished in class one. What gives??
    Actually, winning IS everything!

    It was rough, deep ruts, some dust and the sun in your face would blind you, but overall it was a fun run. If not for losing our belt at the 3 mile mark, we would have have really enjoyed it.

    It was really rough out there. Seemed like a cake walk on paper but after a day of prerunning the coarse on friday, it was chewed up. Breaking and acceleration bumps everywhere. Turns were rutted and full of holes. Real tough on the equiptment and drivers.

    Since so many 1 cars broke, which cars were the most impresive that just for whatever reason could not finish? it must have looked like a wrecking yard...
