ive always loved those dr2 cars way cool
Wow, there are more "old Schoolers" out there than I thought, thanks for the support. Couple answers to questions:
* Serial #36 from Chenowth
* We will be racing in the Sportsman class in SCORE and SNORE, then possibly class 1 in SNORE AFTER I get use to driving a beam car.
* I'm a loyal BFGoodrich guy so the Goodyears on the car are their because they came with it, nothing against 'em.
* After I grow a mullet the raffle for a co-dog seat will be available. Pistol wants a $100 bucks worth from what I hear.
* As for paint, it will be "Racers Only" colors, black with red, but I've had an idea for years and here it is:
I think once a year there should be a "throw back" paint job at a specific race, kinda like what NASCAR has done at the All star race. It would be cool to see cars painted like Walkers old Dodge, Ivans Toyota SR5, Bob Gordons and (of course) the Barbary Coast Chenowths, Parnelli's Big Oly, Malcom Smiths ISS Funco or Mickey Thompsons Challenger. I would love to run the Barbary Coast colors for a race. Maybe we can get Ollie and Ivan Penchansky to paint Butch back to the Nelson and Nelson colors? What do you guys think?

There is something cool about the old Chenowth chasis. LJ Kennedy's new 16 car is a 1986, serial number 6, that was pushed in someones corner and never completed. It was completed recently by Ronnie at SPF and raced Laughlin with 20 test miles on it on the way there. LJ ended up 5th. I have a 2 seat 16 car, serial number 4, that we are putting together as a spare pre runner. I also got to race in the old Gordon car when Alberto Copola owned it with the Toyota V6 in it. They may be an old design, but they seem to have a real good balance to them and were very fun to drive. I was told at Laughlin that Chenowth just recently changed the chasis a little bit and raised the mid rail, but I have not seen it.
how much do you think that car will weigh when ur done. does anyne know who has the herbst old cars. those andial porsche motor where the ticket back in the 90's oh also what is the wheel base on your car.
