It's good to see you post more about this thing. I've got to drive a few minutes over the hill and check it out.
Especially since I missed you Saturday.
Hope you sold enough to finish the car!

hey rory whats the wheel base on that car. sorry for all the questions just think its a cool car and curious
My Chenowth is #026 about a 1989 ex Bill Church class 1. Now updated to a twelve car. I am doing the full tear down, stress relieve and powder coat rebuild. I must have a million hours in on working and riding in the DR2s. I worked and rode at Baldwins who had three and did a little work for Church that had a few of them and now my car over the years. I know they are old but they have a good lookng body and style. Everybody had the same car in the early '90s. A Chenowth with a Porsche, a Hewland and good old Curnutt shocks. This was the top of the line car with 8" front shocks that had a 1/2 inch shaft and ATF for shock oil. Things have really changed. These cars were always a lot shorter than the Racecos, about 115" wheelbase. I put longer rear arms on and my car is a few inches longer. My car weighs 2207lbs.. It has a Type 1 motor with a Mendeola 5 speed coil overs and bypass shocks race ready with 3/4 tank of fuel.

There's this cool feature, were if you click on the persons name next to the post, you can see who they are. Perfect Race, is Lee Perfect. Whats up Lee?
What's up Matt? I'll get some help and post some pictures. I bought my car from Bill Church but they were exactly the same as the Baldwin cars. '92 and '94 Score class 1 championship winners by the way. My car and most of them had Curnutt hubs. I actually found another DR2 I am going to buy for a prerunner, then I'll be old school x 2!
