College Speech, Topic: Baja 1000
Hello all,
I am doing a speech for my Communications 103 class at San Diego State University and I need some help from you guys.
My speech's goal is to discuss a specific culture about a different country. Example, a festival tradition, or historical tradition, landmarks, etc. etc. that takes place in that country. I thought to myself, perfect! I will do it on the Baja 1000 in Ensenada, B.C., Mexico!
Now, for my speech, I need to have sources. I thought it would be best to get feedback from real spectators and participants at the Baja 1000. So I thought I would ask all or our Hispanic RDC members for their help and input. It would be best if you are a spectator, rather than a racer, but it does not matter. (They won't know the difference! LOL) The purpose to explain what this certain festival means to the People of Mexico.
I have a few basic questions that I want to ask, and then you have the right to add anything else you might want:
-Authorization to use your name in my speech? Yes or No. If No, the next question doesn't apply.
-First and Last name, Citizenship, and where you are from (ex: Ensenada, Mexico)
-What does the Baja 1000 mean to you and your family?
-What does the race mean to the people of Mexico? Particularly, Ensenada based Mexicans.
-What has the raced done to change your life / affect your life?
-Describe the race using one word.
-From your personal stand point, what IS the Baja 1000?
-Anything else you would like to add!!
ANY kind of input would be great!!
Thanks guys!!

Right now I am just doing my General Education. Its my 2nd semester, and so far I enjoy it very much. My major is Business Management, but that may change. Not sure yet.
My speech is for my Communications (COMM103) class. Its an informative speech that discusses a different country's culture, a tradition, a certain festival(s), or historical significances.
And thanks Klaus for the Title change!! Even though I don't know what it means..? Maybe I'll GOOGLE it! Haha

Actually eventhough DROGADICTO DEL FORO is literally forum junkie, i uess you mean ADICTO AL FORO,or FOROADICTO. drogadicto del foro implies thet you are the drug addict of the forum; and adicto al foro, that you are addicted to the forum...
Here, I translated fo ryou in case you want to past it in Se Habla Español, although not many people use that one, you'll have better response if you post it in offroad.com.mx.
Hola,
Si o no.
Gracias!.
