Ricky Johnson stars in "Epic Ride" tonight on SPEED

RICKY JOHNSON STARS IN THE PREMIER OF “EPIC RIDE” TONIGHT ON SPEED AT 9:30PM EST.

The new motorcycle reality series also features custom bike builders Roland Sands and Jeff Palhegyi as they take three motorcycle enthusiasts on the road to Vegas with some unexpected stops along the way.

FULLERTON, CALIF. (February 20th, 2007) – The season premier of SPEED’S newest motorcycle show “Epic Ride” will premier Tuesday, February 20th at 9:30pm EST, 6:30pm PST. Brought to SPEED by the Producers of “The Motocross Files”, this weekly, 30-minute program stars 7-Time National Motocross and Supercross Champion, Ricky Johnson and a host of champion motorcycle personalities.

The show’s premise is that each week Johnson and a couple of his bros from the motorcycle community meet at the “3-Aces” and decide who gets to go on an “epic ride” with brand new bikes and brand new gear. They might go on a cruiser ride to Vegas, ride off-road bikes in Mexico or do hot laps at Willow Springs on sport bikes. There’s always some surprises but they’re always having fun.

Motorcycle celebrities on other episodes include: Mike Metzger, Danny LaPorte, Gary Jones, Bubba Shobert, Jesse Rooke, Jake Zemke, Matt Hotch, Francesco Quinn, Steve Rapp, Scott Harden and Rickey Gadsen (plus some surprise guests).

Saw the show, I am hoping for better in the future...hard to fit hours of riding fun into a half hour tv show but I had hoped for a more interesting show. Hopefully the dirt episodes are better...

Thanks for the feedback guys. I think you'll like the Baja and Costa Rica shows. MX-Files for the future include a lot of those guys. Season Three should be acceptable for all ages...

Good Episode!!! I feel sorry for the kid with the blown out knee. RJ was a little hard on him through out the ride, but the kid sucked it up and finished the ride...torn ligiments and all.

Yeah, how do we get involoved in a ride?

Really enjoyed the scenery...and watching the guys ride and RJ ride herd.

Tip our hat to his continued involvement in so many areas of our sport. He actually stopped check on my daughter and I pre-running near dark for the 1000 near 3 hermanos....looked very fit and sharp, and when he left, there was just arapidly disappearing dust trail several ridge-tops away...as in hailin' azz!

Yeah, I saw it tonight and after seing that i'm ordering knee braces tomarrow.Its goning to make me not charge as hard too.

Pretty awesome. Showed a couple prerunners in the Baja episode and a young rider got a Baja lesson.
