If you eat ice from a drink in mexico, is it the same as drinking the water? I was told by someone that they filter the water to make ice, but i'm not buying it! THANKS!!

UMM Sure. The water used to make ice is first filtered though the pristine sands of the Baja Deserts.......Right next to the water trough for the cattle......

I know the ice machines at the hotels ( those that have ice machines) have a single charcol filter attached to them, isn't that enough ??

you people are sissys. I heard the ice thing my first mexico trip and still hear it. the water used to clean the letuce in a salad and the alcohol kill the germs. I personally have gotten sicker eating at a resturant or drinking in a bar in the states. every time i have gone to mexico i do what i do in the US drink, eat, shower brush teeth in shower etc. never had an issue.

the del taco in barstow gets me sicker then i have ever been in mexico.

go and have fun and dont think about it and you will be fine.

Yeah, I have done the same thing. Except the last time I went down I was there for 2 days and the only unfiltered thing I drank was a blended margarita. Came home to find out a few days later I had contracted stomach parasites. Not FUN!!! Could have been from something I ate, but I doubt it.

just stick to beer and bottled water. I've been sicker at taco bell than any other time i ate in mexico.
