Baja 250 Start Order by Classes
Does anyone know the start order by class? I'm trying to guess what time Class 7 will start.

Class 7 start after the 1600s...
After prerunning this weekend, the team feels the 7 opens are going to be much faster on this particular course.
I would like to get with some of the class 7 racers and go to SCORE to see about making a starting order adjustment.

Re: Baja 250 Start Order by Classes
I disagree. In my 5 years of racing 1600, I have never been passed by a 7 truck, ever. I have passed 7 trucks before, due to I was having some down time, and its very difficult to bump them, and make a pass. For 1600's its hard to bump big trucks (TT's 8's, PT's, 7's, etc.) because their rear ends would smash ours. At the 2004 Baja 1000, I followed a 7 truck for 50 miles (top of the summit to the lake beds), and I could not get around because every time I got on his bumper, I would have to back off because his rear end would of destroyed my front end. In the fast he would pull for a bit, but when it came to everything else, I was right on him. Luckily, he got a flat and I went around him. LOL

HAHA...good luck! I've learned that the starting orders in SCORE are sacred and non-negotiable.

This is true...they would have to inform all racers of the change and change all the print material they have already completed...didn't think about that.
