Re: Crew Cab Prerunners?
SuperToys- the fender sticker puts the truck at 164", I am taking 28" out bringing it to 136", close to but not the magic number of 125", I don't know how MAGIC that number is but after some serious weight loss, well +&-, it shouold be a blast to drive, power, travel, (more people to hear scream, muahahaha), j/k, all of those would make for FUN truck. Anybody have a Gear Vendor overdrive available for CHEAP to mate to my T400?

Re: Crew Cab Prerunners?
Hey Zipperhead, or anyone for that matter:
Why is 125" the magic number on wheelbase? Stupid question I'm sure but you gotta give me a break. We're a little behind on the desert racing up here in Oregon. Give us 15 years and we'll be like Southern California is today concerning prerunners.

Re: Crew Cab Prerunners?
There is more to it than I know but one factor is turning radius, another is the wheelbase has a direct affect on the pitch (nose to tail) control over the vehicle. I'm positive that there is more to it than that, maybe someone can chime in here & school us on the reasoning for the 125" wheelbase.........

Yes. It's at the upholstery shop now. Has a Chevy 572 crate motor for motivation.
