I use whats known as a "Tri-Mix". Its a 3 gas mix. It works awesome on a variety of different metals.

Just FYI I buy my gasses from Califoria Tool and Welding in Santa Ana when I'm in the OC, seems like their prices are pretty decent and the service is pretty good too.

You can run straight Co2 al well, but stay away from straight argon for mig welding.

No one commented on the quality of the Welder itself....
Are those Harbor Tools welders worth the $300 bucks? Or what is a good MIG starters welder?

Miller 251 all the way. It's alittle pricey, but your have a much better MIG machine.
