H/S class 11 project.

Hi All,
As you may know we had to abanden our 5/1600 build due to lack of funding. We had a ton of support from all of you, and also some commitmints of parts donations. Even with all that it just wasn`t going to work out.
Fast forward to this week. Earlier this month we felt a class 11 car could be done for a reasonable amount of money so we decided to go ahead with it. This week we have secured corporate sponsorship (will have more info soon) and have purchased a very good car to work with. We are back in the game! This project will be a much better format for our students, and after talking to Tech Dude and various other very knowledgeable people, this is the way to go. Sorry about the teacher putting his foot in his mouth on the 5/1600, but I assure you that this 11 car will happen. Looking forward to talking to you all again.

when I was a senior in HS we had a plan to build a 11 car. It never came to reality, but if it would of been a school project It would of. I look forward to an update on the progress.
