any advice???
I am going to look at a class 9 car next week to possibly buy. I have been involved with another 9 car (prep. work, pits, drive, etc) and I know the basic things I need to look for but if anybody has any suggestions on certain things to look for in a good race car that a newbie may not notice that would be very cool.
Thanx for the help.

KOOK!
Re: any advice???
Go to the class 9 forum here on RDC. Ask them if they know of the car and what they think? I was shopping for a class 9 earlier and they were very helpful. Doug 969 here on RDC knows everything there is to know about class 9.....Seriously.....Send him a PM.

Re: any advice???
make sure it has all the latest goodies like:
2.5" dia rear shocks with resies
Rino case trans, with all chromo axles and tubes and legal gears
Swayaway torsions and spring plates
cromo frame, not mild steel
front end that is turned that is still stright
tons of spare arms, and parts, they do go thru a lot of parts in a season
healthy motor with all the good stuff inside
it is hard to find a good car with all that I have listed, so you may get a deal but spend alot more to update an old car... like I did. It was not worth the $$ OR
get a jeepspeed and have fun with little money
Make your $$ count, race a limited class, it last longer.
