not to be too cynical/pessimistic, but It's too easy to just sign an online petition, and on forums like this, they always get lots of responses.

I've been pushing the Ocotiollo Geothermal letter writing deal on a couple other websites & have gotten very few responses....I understand that everyone is busy, but it breaks my heart that nobody can take 15 minutes & write a real-live letter & put it in a mailbox.
