Pilot Class info
I've been thinking about getting an fl350 to race in the pilot class and I was wondering about how the class works and things i will need to do to the vehicle to make it race ready. By how it works i mean ive seen pics of the races (planning on going to a P.C race soon) and i see the pilots, drakarts, and fl350s all racing together and i used to own a pilot and i know all about drakarts and i know those vehicles are not very equal. So are the vehicles scored differently depending on what they are or what? I plan on putting an a arm kit on the odyssey eventually, but what else should i do to it? Do i have to have nerf bars and/or side nets? Can i go to a race and race without my parents even though im 17? I really want to get into this cause it seems like a somewhat affordable way to go offroad racing, at least compared to Rhinos. Thanks for the help.

Best bet would be to contact VORRA at their site, www.vorra.net and post up a question in the message board.
You would definately need a minor release form signed by your parents to race thats for sure.
You will need a legal helmet and window nets are mandatory, and possibly front netting too. I believe you would also need a fire resistant driving suit. Look at the photos on the Vorra site. Register in the message board section and you can post up any question you need. They are pretty fast at answering them.
