Something tells me that the people that are gonna come out and brave 95 degree weather to donate cash to help me raise money for a wheel chair lift for Jim Rileys wife's mini van are not the kind of people that will be back to shoot holes in the monument.

Your user name really is fitting sir ! If you ARE DMZ Fab you should be very embarrassed for that post. If not you should take their name off your profile so as to not damage their reputation along with your own.

It's not the dedicated I am worried about. The dedicated folks will find the memorial on their own, and respect it. All it is going to take is a few flatbillers in a "sick" prerunner and it is no more. I have attended the dedications of a few close friends at the memorial and watched is slowly deteriorate over the years since the bike was originally placed there.

As for being embarassed, not at all, what do my sponsors have to do with my feelings for a place I hold as sacred??
