Torque Convertor

As you can tell by my list of posts in the last day or 2 I'm in tranny land having fun. Okay, through the research I'm finding I've got tons of info but still one dumb question.... On the torque convertor what's the stall rate affect? I've always heard people talking about it but never found out what cnaged as the stall rate varied or went up. Any info would be greatly appreciated. Khris
