Why did SCORE get rid of the Barstowe Fireworks 250? Does anyone know?

In a nutshell, Sal pissed off the wrong people at the BLM is what I heard. But that could be rumor too. I do know that I spoke with some of the folks at SCORE and could not get a straight answer from them on the subject. I did get what appears to be a lie though. They said that is was due to the fact that there were two 2000 mile race's going to be held and that they wanted to cut back on the schedule to allow the team's to get ready. That is not a rumor. That came directly from SCORE to me. But that would not explain why the race is not on the schedule this year. I'm sure there are other's that know far more on the subject than me.
