Who makes custom headers and what's an average price? I've been recommended to Al's Headers. Any other suggestions?
thanks,

Re: custom headers
cost is very relative to design style & material. "more you want, more it costs"
reid washbon & burns stainless are both in costa mesa/newport area.

Try Richards Preformance Muffler in Vista. He has built custom headers for a couple of race teams.

How about posting some prices...? I'll be needing a set shortly and have been curious to know what a "good" set of custom headers runs these days.
Aloha

Jeff, a set of headers like mine would run you approx $1500.00 jet coated, give or take a hundred.

I just got my headers done by Al's Headers and Al did a great job. When i get a chance to snap some pictures, i'll post them up. He got it done in 4 days just like he said. He charged me $125 per tube and $120 to jet coat although i don't think i'm going to jet coat them.
His number is 714-630-1833
