OC prerunners

Does anyone know what or who is starting this? The Orange County Prerunners? I'd like more info on it.

I know the guys will be at the Baja Shop meeting this weekend, he said to look for the stickers. I have only had contact with them through emails. Hopefully meet them this weekend.

Two guys, Jeremy and Brett, are running OC Prerunners. They both seem very cool and the club is going to be a lot different than what's out there now. Jeremy has a lot of contacts and works on OC Weekly (the magazine). He said he's already got something lined up with Fleshwound Films to get some footage at one of their events. I guess they've already hooked up a Simple Green sponsorship. Frankly, I'm a little jealous! They've even got real plastic discount cards. From what I understand, there are going to be a lot of meetings at clubs (strip and others) as well as runs in the desert. I think of them as like the LBZ of the prerunner clubs. I do want to clear up: I have had a half dozen or so businesses contact me with the impression that they are affiliated with United Prerunners. This is not the case. We are friends and hope to plan some events together in the future, but we're not involved in any of the planning or organizing or anything else that goes along with it. I think their first meeting is in October, but the events page on their site is not working for me right now (ocprerunners.com). Go check it out. We're going to try and be there if we can and wish them the best of luck!
