Re: MDR California 200 Lucerne
It's been two days since the race and not a single one of the usual whiners have posted anything. Not a single complaint about trash, global warming, the cops took my beers, someone stole my weed, I didn't get hugs and kisses at the start line, not even the anonymous high schoolers posting under somebody else's name. You all know who you are, why you holdin' back?

Re: MDR California 200 Lucerne
Pit B had a lot more spectators then normal. But once it got dark most left (yah). We we the only pit with light out there (when the generator was not dead). Some put on quite a good show not to sure of were the course was as it made it's way through pit B some wiping from side to side without lifting others taking the turn way wide knowing the general direction the course should go but out of the groove, others missed and would head out the chase road to turn around and come back to the course.
GPS must have been off because after dark people were almost coming to a stop about 200 yards short of the hole just after B.

Re: MDR California 200 Lucerne
We ran a great race. We didnt even use the radios. Youll be seeing us at the next race. Were in a points competiton with the Jeffery car 1600 They keep getting first but were not givng up. We pit together and help eachother out. May the best 1600 car win. Were just happy to be racing against the number one competitor especially since this is our first time ever racing! Keep a look out for us 1688 all the way.

I took home 1/2 truck bed full of trash. We went and picked up all around our camp and then some. People are just pigs!

Read in the Save the Desert forum. It sounds like the usual "trash" was out there.
