Is there any reason not to go through a hot rod shop to get a 3rd member built? a 3rd memeber is a 3rd memeber correct? as long as it has the parts you want and the gear ratio I should be fine correct?

tell them to setup the backlash at .010 instead of .014 like most street setups run, it'll make a little more noise but it won't go out on you the first trip out. And this is from first hand experience with a couple 3rd's a local shop did for me.
