Re: First to Cabo...
It will still interfere with practice and possibly qualifying.
I think this race is too long for robby to keep the truck together.

Re: First to Cabo...
Homestead is on the 18th, qualifying on the 16th.
Does anyone know if he will run the Bush Race at Homestead?
That will be a hand full. But if anyone can do it, RG can.

I can only imagine what the the first guys through have to deal with... Morning weather, fog, drizzle, crowds, cars, trucks, catus, barbed wire, oncoming traffic, locals, cops, horses & cattle..standing, sleeping, grazing, deceased...in various forms of decomposition or spooked back onto the road from somewhere out of view, sabotage..traps, pits, water, rocks, tires..sometimes on fire, swimming pool sized holes dug with backhoes..filled with water and covered with palm fronds, telephone poles buried in silt and worse.....all await the first to Cabo.
Bike: ...I agree. HENGEVELD'S TEAM!!!
Overall 4 Wheel: The teams who run clean for 1296.39 miles.
Post & RobMac down to the wire with BJ, one point apart, would be an epic finish to this "perfect storm" of a season. And if you throw Collins/Ragland, G&R, Robby, Sheppard/Arciero, Pflueger, Andy and so many others into the mix.. It's all speculation, anything can happen in Baja..and will. Long live the 1000!
Top five in points.
1. Post / MacCachren, Las Vegas. 359
2. B.J. Baldwin. 358
3. Garron Cadiente. 338
4. Dave Caspino, in a Lothringer-VW (CLASS 1-2/1600), 334
5. Ragland / Collins. 332
