We have been really happy with our Goodyear MTR's. The only tires we have used, so take it how it is gg
Toyo, these tires come off the shelf cheap and ready for whatever you put there way. they also last longer for everyday driving.
BFG's have never let me down.
slight hijack but kinda on topic, has anyone checked out the new bfg km2 mud tire?(the steet legal, not the krawler) if you squint it looks suspiciously like a goodyear m/t. just wondering.
you name it,we flame it.
Not a BIG NAME brand but I run 33x12.50 Big O XT's in the West Desert of UT, they have worked fine for me, plus you can't beat the warranty, if the tire can not be repaired you get a new one. Of course I have not gotten a flat yet so I have not been able to take advantage of the warranty.
They come in 35's.

Im on my second set of Nittos and have no complaints what so ever. My roommate had bfg's and now has the goodyear silent armors and likes em. But I still prefer my nittos (we have the same trucks, same size tires)
Well I have run BFG mud& ATs,Bridegstone dueler MTs and ATs, Dunlop MTs and now I am running a set of Maxxis creepy crawlers. I have liked the overall performance of all the tires. I reallylike my creepy crawlers but they are expensive and bias ply, on the street they are noisy but I have found them to be great in the desert and on the trails, the compound is a little soft but an all around great tire for a toy.
If you are looking for a more dual purpose tire that will wear better on the street I would look at the BFGs MTs or ATs based on your needs. I have heard alot of good things about Nittos and I know a ton of folks swear by the goodyear wrangler again MT or AT based on your needs.
If you are racing on them it is tough to beat the BFG support that comes with the tires.
I am not sure there is a best tire, I believe that each company to a point puts out a good product and in the end it really comes down to what you like and what you can afford. Hope the input helps and good luck on your decision.
i ran the b500 and v2r on the same set of tires! had 2 flats and were both my fault. but the two tires that stayed on the whole time were still intact!
