Re: "What about you?" required reading before the Baja 1000
2003 @km 49 sf250 still remember trying to save it... sliding .. low tire pressre.. hooked on pavment..turned into it. thought i saved it... then the A piller caved, i knew it was over when i saw the windsheild shatter.
two and a half barrels ,upside down wrong way wrong side of the hwy. is no way to end a race weekend. first the federalles, then the locals [s. of SF] is Ensanada jourrisdiction! long drive back to the judge! 3 broken ribs, still rember trying to get my arm back in the window, [the pavement was like 10 grit on a belt!!]
Please Everyone Be Safe!!!

Lets all be careful, think and help out each other as much as we can this was good reading, someone should put it on a t-shirt and sell it at the races.

gr8t post & reading, this will be my 2nd Baja 1000. another point being that it only takes one wheel off the pavement, passing or not ( which is narrow )and over correct and u may be done with. I wish the best to all in safety, for all chase crews as well as our race vehicles.
