The Camburg boys hooked it up proper with some lower links and all hardware necessary to make the pictures below happen.

Re: 1400 race 88' toyota
have been extremely busy the past few months with getting my contractors lisence( passed my C-7 low voltage) and gettting my company up and running(www.synovatetech.com) and havent had much time to touch the truck, I got a few hours to touch it a few weeks back and got the upper 4 link mounts half way done.
Also got a little upgrade in the shock department, we are now running 5 tube 4.0 king kongs on all 4 corners and 2.5 bumps in the rear.
There are also talks of a certain clothing company pumping alot of money into our racing efforts for 2009. Might be racing two full series next year completely PAID for. Makes the future alot brighter for us.
Also picked up a new Miller 252 mig welder and a water cooler for the tig welder. And the final update for my garage, I got a new shop mutt, Boxer, 9 weeks.

Re: 1400 race 88' toyota
Ive been up here at the shop in Santa Paula working onthe truck since saturday. My main focus was to get the rear shock mounts done and the cnotch and bump stops mount on the frame so the rear end could be rolling by the time i left. As much as i didnt want to put too much time into the shock mounts, I also didnt want something plain jane as the rear shock mounts are one of the main things people notice when they walk upto the truck. So after hours of design and countless wastded sheets of template board i came up with the following. they are built out of 3/16" 4130 with 1/8" doubler plates and top and bottom boxing along the dimple died gussets. They are hand plasma cut, hand bent(with vise) and tig welded together. I started on them on sunday morning and just finished a few moments ago.
