FOX news channel or CNN???
After seeing the responses to the Presidential Candidate Agreement thread, I see that a good majority of us who are regulars on here share lots of similar views on current events and topics concerning the future of our great nation.
So my next question is, where do we all get our news from? Responsible journalism appears to be a thing of the past, but there are some pretty cool guys out there I think you'd all know about.
Bill O'Reilly from Fox News Channel and Glenn Beck from CNN's Headline News Channel.
I like both of their programs, as they are right side opinion programs and report stories others ignore. Glenn Beck seems to be the only conservative voice over at CNN, while FNC has Alan Colmes of Hannity & Colmes (Colmes is a raving left wing lunatic) and Greta Van Susteren (a somewhat milder version of Colmes). After watching both channels for years now I'd say that FNC gives both sides their chance to be heard, while CNN interviews often go unchallenged. Oh yeah, and FNC has some really good looking female anchors...
So what do all of you read/watch to get your news????

I try to watch em all. Get all sides. Its really amazing to me what some of the "liberal" websites are doing. Some of the "neocon" sites can be bad too so you gotta read in between the lines. Man i think those terms are stupid!

Re: FOX news channel or CNN???
I agree on the females at FOX!
Also agree that Glenn Beck kills it on CNN. Was watching his program last night as he was reporting on all sorts of border war stories from both sides of the border.
new story of sheriff facing prison time for shooting out the tires of a van full of illegals that tried to run him over. Mexican Consultant brings pressure to US govt to press charges. Prosecutes offer plea bargain if the sheriff changes his story and claims he was aiming at the occupants inside the vehicle. WAFJ! how can our law enforcement do their sworn duty with BS politics.
Ongoing broadcasting support for border patrol agents that are currently serving time for protecting our borders from illegal immigrants.
Reporting on good news and progress on the war:

Its such a damn shame where the US is heading. It makes me sick!

Rush Limbaugh, Sean Hannity, and JD Hayworth on the radio.
Fox news for TV....O'Reilly, HANNITY & Colmes(the ignorance of Colmes is purely astounding, his raving leftist views, and pure freaking rudeness makes me laugh, because he's the perfect example of the left wing nuts)

That's probably the most hilarious thing I've read in some time, Fox news giving both sides a chance to be heard? Alan Colmes a "raving lunatic"? He can't ever get a word in because Hannity is always too busy spewing his garbage all over the place. CNN is worthless too, bunch of spineless saps over there. The only one I find mildly tolerable is MSNBC. All news media outlets suck, they've totally transformed the news away from an informative, investigatory programming into pure entertainment. CNN and Fox are just media porn.
The only show that was ever truly "balanced" was CNN's Crossfire; anytime you put Novak, Carlson and Carville together you're bound to get some debates raging!

Re: FOX news channel or CNN???
Oh Travis, I should have expected something like this from you!!!
MSNBC??? Tell me this is a joke....you're kidding me!!! MSNBC is like a college kids project gone awry...that nobody watches or respects.
Your statement about H&C is totally off, and here's why I say FNC offers both sides a chance to mak their argument.
5:00PM...O'Reilly Factor (right side)
6:00PM...H&C (one from each side, and no Hannity does not dominate the discussions, that's just your view. I know a good eye doctor...)
7:00PM...On the Record W/Greta Va Susteren (left side)
On those three programs, guests are invited to speak and engage in discussion with the respective hosts. Is it the fault of FNC that those guests often DECLINE the offer because they know they can't stand up to the questions posed by the hosts?
This is why Obama, Clinton, Edwards among numerous other Democratic maybes have not appeared on O'Reilly's program.
But Obama will appear on the Ellen DeGenereous show huh?
Rosie O'Donnell will spout her mouth off on the View, where Elisabeth Hasselbeck is the only one to offer challenges to her incomprehensible liberal propaganda. When pressed by a member of O'Reilly's producers about her 9-11 statements, she declined making the statements.
No wonder she won't appear on his show, she can't even handle questions from a producer of the show.
Travis, I do appreciate your contrubition to the thread however. I just so happen to disagree with about everything I've ever read that you've authored.

Re: FOX news channel or CNN???
MSNBC.......That explains it. Hint, type in Rush Limbaugh and read or better yet LISTEN for 1 week and if by then you still think the current Democrat party has our best interest in mind, then theres probably no hope of depropramming you from your left wing bias. Question: What good has the left done for this fine country in the last 40 years? Im drawing a blank......Bill Clinton balanced the budget by damn near bankrupting me and 1000s of other small business so that doesnt count. He brought oral sex to be excepted as not really having sex,and if you have young kids growing I dont really think that should count as a good thing either.Kennedy and Johnson got us into Vietnam but the MSNBC crowd blames Nixon. Its rare to never that Ive heard anything posiTve on MSNBC about Republicans and its rare to never that anything negative is reported about Democrats. Fox News will hammer both sides if deserved.Which from my far right point of view happens quite often.
